Product Description:
The FCV663 is a compact color video sounder with a dual-frequency transmitter using a single
transducer. Steady, non-fading digitized pictures are presented on a 6" rectangular CRT in 8
colors depending on received echo strength.
The FCV663 incorporates both 50kHz and 200kHz transceivers for optimum shallow as well as
deep water performance. You have a choice of high or low frequency display, either with or
without Bottom Lock, or a simultaneous dual-frequency display. Standard features include an
audible alarm and a noise limiter. The alarm works either as a Fish Alarm or Bottom Alarm.
In addition to manual phasing of the range, automatic phasing is also provided so that the bottom
is always displayed on the lower portion of the screen.
Water depth is displayed digitally on-screen. When fitted with optional speed/temperature
sensors, this data is displayed digitally. The temperature is also graphically plotted across the
upper half of the screen to allow intuitive observation of continuous change and location of
current rip. In addition, ship's position is shown in Lat/Lon when connected to the appropriate nav
sensor outputting data in NMEA 0183 format. All of this data may be indicated in a larger type
size in the Nav Data display.
